Display and Design
The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active features an 8-inch LCD multi capacitive touch display with a resolution of 800 x 1,280 pixels and a pixel density of 189ppi. The rugged outfit has a thickness of 9.7mm and a weight of 393 grams which means you will have to use both your hands while working or rest it somewhere.

However, the device is reported to be capable of working without any interruption even if you drop it from a height of 1.2 meters. And the IP67 certification means that you have the liberty to use it even under the water or in areas full of dust. The presence of a separate stylus named C Pen allows you to work without having to use your fingers.

Processor and OS
The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active is driven by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor aided by a 1.5GB RAM. It runs the recently launched Android v4.4 KitKat OS.

Camera and Storage
The slate comes with a 3.1MP autofocus snapper and LED flash at the back which apart from capturing usual pictures and videos, can be utilized for scanning documents as and when required.
