LCD
A liquid-crystal display (LCD) is a flat panel display, electronic visual display, or video display that uses the light modulating properties of liquid crystals. Liquid crystals do not emit light directly.
LCD is the most common display type found in the portable devices like phones, cameras because of its low power consumption and good image quality. In this type of display, liquid crystal molecules are placed between two electrode glasses and two polarizing filters in each unit dots (or, pixels). There are a lot of types of LCD Displays like, STN, TFT, TFD, Transmissive LCD, Reflective LCD, or transflective LCDs etc.
